Volunteer Sign Up: Halloween Trick or Treat 2025

Help BNHV Celebrate Halloween!

Our Halloween Trick or Treat comes in two forms: a drive-thru and our traditional event! 

Event attendees will drive or walk through our decorated and gently spooky Historic Village and collect candy at our historic buildings. 

Volunteers Needed

We need volunteers for admissions, handing out candy, serving refreshments, and monitoring the events.

Drive-Thru Trick or Treat

The Drive-Thru Trick or Treat will be held on Thursday, October 16th from 6 PM - 8 PM. The Drive-Thru Trick or Treat volunteer shift is from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. 

Volunteers will either help at admissions or by handing out candy. This event is completely outside, so please dress for the weather. Costumes are encouraged!

Traditional Trick or Treat 

The Traditional Trick or Treat will be held on Friday, October 17th and Saturday, October 18th.

There are two shifts per night. Volunteers can choose from the First Shift or the Second Shift. 

• First Shift: 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM
• Second Shift: 6 PM - 9 PM

Volunteers will help at admissions, serving refreshments, monitoring the event, or by handing out candy. This event is completely outside, so please dress for the weather. Costumes are encouraged!

Please Note: Volunteers 16 and younger must have a guardian present with them throughout their volunteer shift.
