ABOUT GGWNY:
Grassroots Gardens WNY is an independent organization of gardeners and activists in Buffalo and Niagara Falls, NY, committed to facilitating local community gardens. Our model is truly grassroots - we are entirely community driven in the creation, management, and upkeep of over 100 community and school gardens. GGWNY’s mission is to share knowledge, power, and resources to grow healthy food, heal systemic harm, and strengthen neighborhood connections through our gardens.
Grassroots Garden’s staff team has diverse experiences and expertise in gardening topics, much of which is learned through working with a knowledgeable and broad group of community gardeners. We enjoy opportunities to share our knowledge in classrooms, workshops, and lectures when the opportunities arise!
For the safety of our guests and resident farm animals, dogs and other pets are not permitted. Service animals are welcome.
