Join Mara Pessah at Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village! Mara has studied folkloric herbalism, Ayurvedic medicine, and Eastern medicine. She is an avid reader of scientific studies and believes that true healing lies in the successful integration of these diverse systems. Her chemical-free acreage in the Niagara escarpment hosts a wide variety of medicinal plants which Mara has the privilege to watch over.

Learn about the rich history behind traditional medicinals which support both everyday health as well as chronic conditions. You will discover different ways medicinal plants may be harvested and preserved, as well as easy ways to add nutrition to your soil.
