People have been working with wood for centuries. Come learn how early
settlers relied on wood, and visit our Woodwrights Cottage to take a look at the different kinds of hand tools. Participants in this program will:

● Learn about different basic tools and how to use them safely.
● Use basic hand tools to build a project of their own.

All Scouts are welcome to attend this program. Participation in this program will meet some of the requirements for Cadette Girl Scouts’ Woodworker Badge, Bear Cub Scouts’ Baloo the Builder Badge, Webelos/AOL Build It Elective Adventure Badge, and Boy Scouts’ Woodwork Merit Badge.
