“As a community-based health plan, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York is pleased to offer free admission for Western New York seniors to the Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village every Wednesday,” said Julie R. Snyder, Vice President, Community Affairs, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York. “Programs like these help our senior members stay engaged both mentally and socially, supporting their overall health and well-being. Our team looks forward to connecting with our community at the historic Village this summer.”
BNHV’s 35-acre campus offers safe, socially distanced opportunities to learn about Western New York’s agricultural roots and rural heritage. In addition to the health benefits of active and engaging fun in the fresh air, free senior admission provides the opportunity for local seniors to explore local history together and connect with community.
Free admission is available to seniors (65 years of age and older) from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesdays, June 16th through October 27th, 2021. Timed-entry tickets are encouraged. Tickets can be reserved online at https://bnhv.givecloud.co/buy-tickets.
