German Sommerfest will be held in the Museum’s Historic Village from 12:00 – 7:00 pm. Enjoyment of the Museum’s exhibits and 11 historic buildings is included in the admission price. Adults are $8, Seniors/Military are $7, Children & Members are $6.

“Culture is the spice of life! BNHV strives to present a full cultural, educational experience. We want festival goers to taste the cuisine, learn the music and drinking songs, try a dance, learn some German words, and ultimately immerse themselves within an authentic German Sommerfest. Our events take place in our historic, early American village, which adds even more to the experience. It truly is an event for all ages,” explains Executive Director Herbert Schmidt III.
