Join us for a Behind The Scenes tour of our upcoming exhibit Something Borrowed, Something Blue: Wedding Fashions 1800 - 2000, led by our Curator Beth Roehling-Flynn.   Enjoy an intimate look at the pieces that span 200 years of nuptials. The Heritage Village Lace Guild is pleased to announce its 29th Annual Lace Seminar, June 3rd and 4th. On Saturday the public is invited to the morning lecture on Masterpieces of Old Lace, the day-long Merchants Mall with antique lace, thread, books, and supplies for lacemaking and other needlework, and a beginner’s class in Romanian lace. On Wednesday, July 5, from 10:00 - 11:00 am Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village (BNHV) will host a tour of the gardens housed upon its 35 acre grounds. The tour has been organized by the Master Gardeners of Erie and Niagara Counties, who curate and maintain the gardens on BNHV's grounds. Unplug, reconnect, and experience pioneer life. This is a fully immersive, historical experience for children. Children, ages 6 - 13, will tend to crops on our farmstead, learn how to care for our livestock, cook historic foods, spin and weave wool, engage in historic crafts, and play historic games.
