Join us for this family-friendly, hands-on weekend
as we explore all things maple.
Maple Weekend features a lumberjack breakfast and educational programming. Please see below for full offerings and ticket information.

Featuring maple science demonstrations and a maple sugar tour covering the history of maple sugaring led by Maple Sugar experts and our oxen, Jack and Flynn. This tour features hands-on, interactive stops such as a 19th century sugar arch, a tree tapping station, maple cooking demonstrations in Elliott House, tasty maple sugar on snow treats, and more.
Live music will be provided by The Brothers Blue from 12:00 – 3:00 pm, presented by the Sportsmen’s Americana Music Foundation.
BBQ will be available for purchase, provided by KTB’s Bucking Pig BBQ.
A special Maple Porter courtesy of New York Beer Project will be available for purchase in Rubeck House.
Museum, Farmstead (don’t forget to visit our chickens, sheep, ram, and oxen), and Historic Village will be open with demonstrations by costumed interpreters, the Brewers Guild, the Woodwrights Guild, the Blacksmiths Guild, and the Lace, Quilt and Weavers Guilds.
Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear for outdoor exploration.
The Museum Gift Shop, Steffen Education Building, and Rubeck House will have locally produced maple products for purchase. Want to skip the store line? Pre-order here. Maple products will be available for pick-up ONLY in the Shaw Building on March 30th and 31st. Delivery is not available.
Pancake Breakfast Seatings
Breakfast will be served from 9:30 am until 12:00 pm in open seating style. Prepaying for your ticket(s) is encouraged, as it allows for ease of check-in at our Will-Call area on the day of.
Please note, tables can be reserved for large parties only (8+). To reserve a table for a large party, please call 716-689-1440. Tables are reserved for a 9:30 am arrival time only. Party must check-in by 9:45 am or table will be released to open seating.

Pancakes, Maple Syrup, Sausage, Eggs, Fruit Cocktail, Hot and Cold Beverages. Hot beverages to include maple coffee courtesy of Premier Gourmet.

Reservations recommended. Pancake Breakfast seatings sell out fast! To make a reservation, please call 716-689-1440 or purchase online. Walk-ins are welcome, however we cannot guarantee a seat without a reservation. We recommend walk-ins call prior to ensure there is availability.
