Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village is elated to announce the opening date of our newest exhibit: Let’s Eat! Farm to Table: Amherst 1850 – 1950. This exciting new exhibit will feature a variety of artifacts and photographs in relation to farm life, as well as an interactive children’s space.
Ribbon cutting and reception will be held Thursday, September 13th from 5:00 – 7:30 pm. In addition to the unveiling of this new exhibit, guests will enjoy living history upon a working 19th Century farmstead with oxen, sheep and chickens, as well as cooking demonstrations by costumed interpreters within the Historic Village. Live entertainment will be provided by the Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village house band – The Porch Pickers. Light refreshments will be served. Enjoyment of the Museum’s exhibits and 11 historic buildings is included with FREE admission. Admission is FREE as part of our Free Farmstead Thursdays series sponsored by M&T Bank.
