Introduction to Small Scale Hay Making

This course, instructed by Scott Schotz and Sara Miller, will introduce the hobbyist farmer to small scale hay making. Participants will learn different methods of harvesting and storing hay; ranging from cutting hay with a scythe, storing loose hay in a loft, and baling with a historic hay press. Participants will also receive a kit to make their own hay rake.
