Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village is thrilled to announce the appointment of Shawn (Stover) Schofield as our new Executive Director.
Shawn (Stover) Schofield officially began her new role as Executive Director of Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village on January 1st, 2019. The selection was made after an extensive national and local search and selection process.
Schofield is a graduate of the University of Buffalo and a Clarence native currently residing in Cheektowaga. She brings to the organization experience in development, events, communications, marketing, non-profit management and program development. Schofield previously served as the Director of Community Engagement for the Better Business Bureau of Upstate New York, as well as the Director of the WNY Division of the March of Dimes.
Schofield starts her tenure during an exciting time for the Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village. Schofield says, “We have a rich and important history here in the Buffalo Niagara region and I am humbled to be a part of the efforts to share that.”
