Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village Statement
March 20, 2020
Today, Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village has made the difficult decision to temporarily close until further notice. As a community-focused organization, we believe this measure is necessary to do our part in helping to ensure the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and neighbors. Although there are no cases of illness associated with our campus, all meetings, programs, and Guild gatherings will be postponed.
We will continue to closely monitor the current situation, including guidance from the CDC and Erie County, and will carefully reassess the situation in the coming weeks. During this time, we will continue working to prepare for a successful open season in our Historic Village, and for the workshops and Community Events scheduled for the remainder of 2020.
BNHV values our community, and by banding together and supporting each other during this difficult time, we can lessen the impact on cultural organizations, local businesses, and impacted families. Our thoughts are with all of Western New York, and we hope to welcome you back to your Village soon.
